Shrimp Preparation

Cook the Shrimp
In a large pot, bring water and salt to a boil. Add the jumbo shrimp to the boiling water and cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Do not overcook.

Drain and Prepare for Serving
Remove the shrimp from the ice water, drain well, and set aside on a plate covered with ice.
Cocktail Sauce Preparation

Mix the Sauce
In a bowl, combine the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

Taste and Adjust
Taste the cocktail sauce and adjust seasoning with additional salt or hot sauce as desired.
Serving

Plate the Dish
On a serving platter, arrange the shrimp over a bed of ice. Serve the cocktail sauce in a small bowl alongside the shrimp.
