Wings
Sauce (optional)
Method
Preparation of Wings
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This step is essential to ensure the wings get crispy.
- 2
Dry the Wings
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. This helps in achieving a crispy texture.
- 3
Coat the Wings
In a large bowl, combine the baking powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Add the dry wings to the bowl and toss until evenly coated.
- 4
Bake the Wings
Lay the coated wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the wings are golden brown and crispy.
Making the Sauce (Optional)
- 5
Prepare the Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, stir in the hot sauce, honey, and soy sauce. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until well combined.
- 6
Toss the Wings
Once the wings are baked and crispy, remove them from the oven. In a large bowl, pour the sauce over the wings and toss until they are evenly coated.
Serving
- 7
Serve the Wings
Transfer the wings to a serving platter and enjoy them hot. They can be served with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing if desired.
