Pasta Preparation

Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Meat Sauce Preparation

Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion is translucent, about 5 minutes.

Cook the Ground Beef
Add the ground beef to the skillet. Cook until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon, about 6-8 minutes.

Add Tomatoes and Seasonings
Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring to a simmer and cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Garlic Breadsticks Preparation

Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic powder, and parsley.

Brush the Breadsticks
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the breadsticks on a baking sheet and brush the garlic butter mixture over them. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden.
Assembly

Combine and Serve
On a plate, serve a portion of spaghetti topped with meat sauce. Serve with two garlic breadsticks on the side.
