Prepare Proteins

Cook Ground Beef
In a skillet over medium heat, cook 1 lb of ground beef until browned, breaking it up with a spoon. Drain excess fat.

Prepare Shredded Chicken
If using rotisserie chicken, shred 1 lb of cooked chicken. If cooking from scratch, boil chicken breasts until cooked through, then shred.

Heat Black Beans
In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of black beans over low heat until warmed through.

Cook Chorizo
In a separate skillet, cook 0.5 lbs of chorizo over medium heat until fully cooked, breaking it up as it cooks.

Warm Tortillas
In a dry skillet, warm the corn and flour tortillas one at a time over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until soft and pliable.
Assemble Toppings

Chop and Prepare Toppings
Chop the lettuce, tomatoes, and cilantro. Slice the jalapeños and avocados.
