Koozie Base Preparation

Measure and Cut Neoprene
Using the measuring tape, measure out a rectangle of neoprene fabric that is 10 inches by 5 inches. Cut out the rectangle using the scissors.

Sew the Edges
Using the sewing machine, fold the neoprene rectangle in half lengthwise with the outer side facing in. Sew along the edge, leaving the top open.
Designing the Koozie

Choose Your Design
Select stencils or templates for the design you want on your koozie. Lay them out on the fabric to visualize.

Apply Fabric Paint or Markers
Using fabric paint or markers, carefully color in your designs on the koozie. Allow it to dry completely.

Optional: Iron-on Transfers
If using iron-on transfers, follow the instructions provided with the transfers to adhere them to the fabric.
Finalizing the Koozie

Iron the Koozie
Lay the koozie flat on the ironing board and iron it gently to smooth out any wrinkles and set the paint.

Seal the Design
Spray a light coat of clear acrylic spray sealant over the entire koozie to protect your design. Let it dry according to the manufacturer's instructions.
