Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Soften Cream Cheese

Place the cream cheese in a mixing bowl and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes to soften.

  2. 2

    Chop Jalapeños and Green Onions

While the cream cheese is softening, finely chop the fresh jalapeños and green onions. Set aside.

Mixing

  1. 3

    Combine Base Ingredients

In the mixing bowl with softened cream cheese, add sour cream and mayonnaise. Mix using a hand mixer or spatula until well combined and creamy.

  2. 4

    Add Flavor Ingredients

Add the chopped jalapeños, green onions, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper to the creamy mixture. Stir well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

Serving

  1. 5

    Chill

Cover the dip with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

  2. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Before serving, sprinkle chopped cilantro on top and add extra jalapeño slices for garnish if desired. Serve with tortilla chips, veggies, or crackers.
