Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Gather all ingredients. If using bacon, sausage, or ham, ensure they are cooked and chopped into small pieces.

  2. 2

    Whisk the Eggs

In a large bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together until well combined. Add salt, black pepper, and paprika to the eggs and mix.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Cook the Eggs

In a large skillet over medium heat, add a little oil or butter. Pour in the whisked eggs and cook, stirring frequently, until they are just set but still soft, about 3-5 minutes.

  2. 4

    Add Meat and Cheese

Once the eggs are nearly done, add the cooked meat of your choice and shredded cheese to the skillet. Stir until the cheese is melted and everything is heated through.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Fill the Tortillas

Warm the flour tortillas in a separate skillet or microwave for a few seconds to make them pliable. Spoon the egg, cheese, and meat mixture onto the center of each tortilla.

  2. 6

    Wrap the Burritos

Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and then roll from the bottom up to secure the filling inside. Repeat for all tortillas.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve with Optional Toppings

Serve the breakfast burritos warm with optional toppings like salsa, sliced avocado, and chopped cilantro on the side.
