Mascarpone Mixture

Make Mascarpone Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine 4 egg yolks and 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar. Whisk until the mixture is pale and creamy. Add 16 oz of mascarpone cheese and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Mix gently until smooth.

Whip Cream
In a separate bowl, whip 1 cup of heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Carefully fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture until fully combined.

Dip each ladyfinger into the cooled espresso for a few seconds, ensuring they soak without becoming soggy. Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers at the bottom of a rectangular dish.

Add Mascarpone Layer
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the layer of ladyfingers, smoothing it out evenly with a spatula.
- 6
Second Layer
Repeat the process with another layer of soaked ladyfingers followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture on top.
Chilling and Serving

Chill
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
