Method

Dumplings Preparation

1

Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, green onions, minced ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until fully combined.

2

Assemble Dumplings

Place a teaspoon of the filling in the center of each wonton wrapper. Wet the edges with water, fold over to create a triangle, and press to seal. You can also pleat the edges for a decorative touch.

3

Cook Dumplings

Boil a pot of water and gently add the dumplings. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until they float to the top and are cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Spring Rolls Preparation

4

Prepare the Filling

In a large skillet, heat a tablespoon of oil over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant. Add cabbage, carrot, mushrooms, soy sauce, salt, and pepper. Cook for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

5

Assemble Spring Rolls

Place a few tablespoons of the filling on each spring roll wrapper, fold the sides in, then roll tightly from the bottom up. Seal with a bit of water.

6

Fry Spring Rolls

Heat oil in a deep pan to 175°C (350°F). Fry the spring rolls in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Drain on paper towels.

Dipping Sauce Preparation

7

Mix the Sauce

In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, chili oil, and sesame seeds. Stir until well mixed.
