Method

Preparing the Fries

  1. 1

    Cook the Fries

Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Spread the frozen French fries evenly on a baking sheet. Drizzle with vegetable oil, and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss the fries to coat evenly.

  2. 2

    Bake the Fries

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the fries are golden and crispy.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced onions, sweet bell peppers, and mushrooms. Season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are soft and slightly caramelized.

  2. 4

    Cook the Plant-Based Beef

Add the plant-based beef crumbles to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until heated through.

Assembling the Impossible Fries

  1. 5

    Combine and Serve

Once the fries are cooked and crispy, remove them from the oven. Layer the sautéed plant-based beef and vegetable mixture over the fries. Top with shredded white American cheese. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  2. 6

    Serving Suggestions

Serve the Impossible Fries hot, garnished with extra sautéed vegetables if desired. Enjoy your delicious, plant-based meal!
