Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Slice the tomato and onion into thin rounds. Rinse and dry the lettuce leaves. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the hickory-smoked, honey-cured bacon until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and let drain on paper towels.

  3. 3

    Toast the Bread

Toast the slices of sandwich bread until golden brown. This can be done in a toaster or on a skillet.

Assembly

  1. 4

    Layer the Ingredients

On the first slice of toasted bread, spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise. Layer with lettuce leaves, followed by the slow-roasted turkey, prosciuttini peppered ham, provolone cheese, tomato slices, and onion rounds.

  2. 5

    Add the Bacon

Add the crispy bacon slices on top of the onion.

  3. 6

    Finish the Sandwich

Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise on the second slice of toasted bread and place it on top of the bacon. Top with the third slice of bread and cut the sandwich into halves or quarters for easier handling.
