Method
Preparation
- 1
Roast the Turkey
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place the turkey breast in a roasting pan and season with salt and pepper. Roast for about 1.5 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- 2
Prepare the Ingredients
While the turkey is roasting, prepare the other ingredients. Wash and dry the mixed greens thoroughly. Dice the tomatoes and drain and rinse the black beans. If using frozen corn, cook it according to package instructions and let it cool.
- 3
Assembly
- 4
Combine the Base
In a large serving tray, layer the mixed greens as the base. This will provide a fresh and crunchy foundation for the other ingredients.
- 5
Add the Turkey
Slice the roasted turkey breast into thin slices and arrange it evenly over the mixed greens.
- 6
Layer the Veggies
Sprinkle the diced tomatoes, corn, and black beans evenly over the turkey layer.
- 7
Top with Crispy Onions
Evenly distribute the crispy cheddar onions over the top of the layered ingredients for added crunch.
- 8
Drizzle Sauces
Drizzle the BBQ sauce and chipotle ranch dressing over the assembled tray, ensuring an even coverage for flavor in every bite.
- 9
Serve
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve. This dish is best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
