Wonton Soup Ingredients

Method

Wonton Soup Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Filling

In a bowl, combine the ground pork, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced ginger, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated.

  2. 2

    Fill the Wontons

Take a wonton wrapper and place about 1 teaspoon of the filling in the center. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with a little water, fold it over to form a triangle, and press to seal. Then bring the two corners of the triangle together and pinch to seal. Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling.

  3. 3

    Cook the Wontons

In a large pot, bring the chicken broth to a boil. Carefully add the wontons to the boiling broth and cook for about 5-6 minutes or until they float to the surface and are cooked through.

  4. 4

    Add the Bok Choy

Add the halved baby bok choy to the pot in the last 2 minutes of cooking and let it wilt.

  5. 5

    Serve the Soup

Once cooked, ladle the wonton soup into bowls and serve hot. You can garnish with additional green onions if desired.
