Directions
- 1
Prepare the Coffee
Brew a strong cup of coffee and allow it to cool. If desired, mix in the coffee liqueur.
- 2
Whip the Cream
In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add the granulated sugar and continue to beat until stiff peaks form.
- 3
Mix the Mascarpone
In another bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese and vanilla extract. Gently fold in the whipped cream until fully incorporated.
- 4
Soak the Ladyfingers
Dip each ladyfinger into the cooled coffee mixture quickly, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy.
- 5
Layer the Tiramisu
In a rectangular dish, arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers. Repeat with another layer of soaked ladyfingers and top with the remaining mascarpone mixture.
- 6
Chill and Serve
Cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
