Dumpling Filling
Method
Dumpling Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Filling
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, chopped shrimp, minced garlic, grated ginger, chopped green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.
- 2
Fill the Dumplings
Take a dumpling wrapper and place about a teaspoon of the filling in the center. Fold the wrapper in half to create a half-moon shape, and pinch the edges tightly to seal. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- 3
Steam the Dumplings
Prepare a steamer by bringing water to a boil. Place the dumplings in the steamer basket, making sure they are not touching each other. Cover and steam for about 10-12 minutes, or until the dumplings are cooked through.
- 4
Serve
Remove the dumplings from the steamer and serve hot with soy sauce or your favorite dipping sauce.
