Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Spaghetti

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Bolognese Sauce

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion, carrot, and celery. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.

  3. 3

    Add Garlic and Beef

Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute. Add the ground beef, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned.

  4. 4

    Incorporate Tomatoes and Wine

Add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and red wine. Stir to combine.

  5. 5

    Season the Sauce

Add the dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Bring the sauce to a simmer and reduce the heat to low. Let it cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the spaghetti topped with the Bolognese sauce and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
