Cooking Instructions
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to the highest setting, usually around 250°C (482°F). If you have a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
- 2
Prepare the Dough
On a floured surface, stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a round shape, about 10-12 inches in diameter.
- 3
Add Tomato Sauce
Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the surface of the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- 4
Add Cheese
Tear the fresh mozzarella into small pieces and distribute them evenly over the sauce.
- 5
Seasoning
Drizzle olive oil over the pizza and sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste.
- 6
Bake the Pizza
Carefully place the pizza in the hot oven (or on the preheated pizza stone) and bake for about 10-12 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- 7
Add Basil
Remove the pizza from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves.
- 8
Serve
Slice the pizza and serve hot, enjoying the classic flavors of a Margherita pizza.
