Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Start by selecting high-quality grade A choice steak. Trim off any excess fat and cut the steak into chunks suitable for grinding.

  2. 2

    Grind the Steak

Using a meat grinder or food processor, grind the steak until it reaches a coarse consistency. Do not over-process; you want to maintain some texture.

  3. 3

    Season the Meat

In a large bowl, combine the ground steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until combined.

  4. 4

    Form the Patties

Divide the seasoned meat into four equal portions and form each portion into a patty. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to ensure even cooking.

  5. 5

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. If using a grill, ensure it is well-oiled to prevent sticking.

  6. 6

    Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium-rare, adjusting the time for desired doneness.

  7. 7

    Add Cheese (Optional)

If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.

  8. 8

    Assemble the Burgers

Toast the burger buns lightly. Place the cooked patties on the bottom halves of the buns, and top with lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard to taste. Cover with the top halves of the buns.

  9. 9

    Serve

Serve the hamburgers hot with your favorite sides.
