Preparation Directions

   Cook the Bratwurst

   In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the bratwurst sausages and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.

   Prepare the Sauerkraut

   While the bratwurst is cooking, slice the onion and add it to a saucepan over medium heat. Sauté until translucent. Add the sauerkraut and caraway seeds, and simmer for about 10 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

   Serve

   Once the bratwurst is cooked, place them on a plate and serve with a generous portion of sauerkraut on the side. Drizzle with yellow mustard before serving.
