Ice Mountain Water

Method

Ice Mountain Water

1

Chill glass (optional)

Place the serving glass in the freezer for 5–10 minutes to get it very cold. This step is optional but enhances the 'Ice Mountain' experience.

2

Prepare ice

Fill an ice tray with filtered water and freeze until solid (about 4–6 hours) if you want the clearest ice. For immediate use, use ready-made ice cubes from your freezer.

3

Assemble

Remove the chilled glass from the freezer (if used). Add 1 cup of ice cubes to the glass. Pour 4 cups of cold filtered water into a pitcher or directly into the glass if serving a single portion.

4

Serve

If serving from a pitcher, pour water into the prepared glass over the ice. Add an optional lemon slice and/or a mint sprig to garnish. Stir gently once and serve immediately.

5

Notes

Adjust the water-to-ice ratio to preference. For a longer-lasting cold drink, use larger ice cubes or an ice ball. Use very cold (nearly freezing) water for the crispest 'Ice Mountain' effect.
