Method
Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking the egg bites.
- 2
Prepare the Egg Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
Mixing Ingredients
- 3
Add the Cheese and Vegetables
Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese, chopped spinach, diced bell pepper, crumbled bacon, and sliced green onions into the egg mixture until evenly distributed.
Baking
- 4
Prepare the Muffin Tin
Grease a muffin tin with cooking spray or oil to prevent sticking. You can also use silicone muffin cups for easier removal.
- 5
Fill the Muffin Tin
Pour the egg mixture evenly into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 3/4 full.
- 6
Bake the Egg Bites
Place the muffin tin in the preheated oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the egg bites are set and lightly golden on top.
Cooling and Storing
- 7
Cool the Egg Bites
Once baked, remove the muffin tin from the oven and let the egg bites cool in the tin for 5 minutes.
- 8
Remove and Store
Gently run a knife around the edges of each egg bite to loosen, then carefully remove them from the tin. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
