Pulled Pork

Prepare the Pork
Rub the pork shoulder with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Place in a slow cooker.

Add Liquid
Pour apple cider vinegar and half of the BBQ sauce over the pork.

Cook
Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or until the pork is fork-tender.

Shred the Pork
Remove the pork from the slow cooker, shred with two forks, and mix with the remaining BBQ sauce.
Onion Straws

Prep the Onions
Slice the large onion into thin rings and soak in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, combine all-purpose flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.

Coat the Onions
Remove the onion rings from the buttermilk and dredge in the flour mixture.

Slaw

Prepare the Vegetables
Shred the green cabbage and carrots.

Mix the Dressing
In a large bowl, mix together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

Combine
Add the shredded cabbage and carrots to the dressing and toss to coat evenly.

Chill
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.

On a bun, layer the pulled pork, slaw, onion straws, and top with dill pickles.
