Preparation of Drumsticks

1. Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). This will ensure the chicken cooks evenly and gets crispy.

2. Prepare the Chicken

In a large bowl, combine the chicken drumsticks with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, and olive oil. Toss until the drumsticks are well coated.

3. Arrange on Baking Sheet

Place the seasoned drumsticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Make sure they are spaced out to allow for even cooking.

Making Buffalo Sauce

4. Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter.

5. Combine the Sauce Ingredients

Once the butter is melted, add the hot sauce, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and honey. Stir well to combine.

6. Simmer the Sauce

Let the sauce simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and set aside.

Cooking the Drumsticks

7. Bake the Drumsticks

Bake the drumsticks in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C) and the skin is crispy.

8. Coat with Buffalo Sauce

Remove the drumsticks from the oven and brush them generously with the prepared buffalo sauce. Ensure they are well coated.

9. Final Bake

Return the drumsticks to the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes to let the sauce set and caramelize slightly.

Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Serve hot with extra buffalo sauce on the side for dipping.
