Pizza Dough

Method

Pizza Assembly

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dough

In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy. In a separate bowl, mix flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Knead until smooth and elastic, about 5-7 minutes. Let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your wood-fired oven to approximately 800°F (427°C). If using a regular oven, set it to the highest temperature possible.

  3. 3

    Shape the Pizza

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into two equal pieces. On a floured surface, stretch or roll each piece into a 10-inch circle.

  4. 4

    Add Toppings

Spread your favorite pizza sauce over the base, sprinkle with shredded mozzarella cheese, and add toppings of your choice (pepperoni, bell peppers, mushrooms, etc.).

  5. 5

    Bake the Pizza

Transfer the pizza to a pizza peel (or baking tray) and carefully place it in the preheated wood-fired oven. Bake for about 2-3 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a minute, slice, and enjoy your Famous Wood Fire Pizza!
