For the Ribs

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs for better tenderness and flavor absorption.

  2. 2

    Season the Ribs

Rub the yellow mustard all over the ribs, this will act as a binder for the dry rub. In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper. Rub this mixture generously over the ribs.

  3. 3

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.

  4. 4

    Apply BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and carefully unwrap the foil. Brush BBQ sauce over the ribs and return them to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 30 minutes.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once the ribs are caramelized and sticky, remove them from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes. Cut between the bones and serve warm.
