Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinara Sauce

In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic (4 cloves) and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute). Add 1 can (28 ounces) of crushed tomatoes, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, 1 teaspoon of red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper to taste. Simmer the sauce for 20 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Linguine

While the sauce is simmering, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the linguine and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  3. 3

    Add the Seafood

Once the marinara sauce has simmered, add the clams, mussels, calamari, scallops, and shrimp to the pot. Cover and cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the clams and mussels have opened and the shrimp are cooked through.

  4. 4

    Combine and Serve

Toss the cooked linguine in the pot with the seafood and marinara sauce. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon if desired.
