Shrimp Marinara Ingredients

Method

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Cook the Linguine

In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté Garlic and Shrimp

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the jumbo shrimp and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until they turn pink and opaque.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Marinara Sauce

Add the crushed tomatoes, chopped basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well and let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

  4. 4

    Combine and Serve

Toss the cooked linguine into the sauce, ensuring the pasta is well coated. Serve hot, garnished with grated parmesan cheese and additional basil if desired.
