Cook the Scallops
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sea scallops and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove the scallops from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Marinara Sauce
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Stir in the crushed tomatoes, white wine, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Bring to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes.

Combine and Serve
Return the scallops to the skillet and add the chopped basil. Stir gently to combine and heat through for another 2 minutes. Serve the scallops and sauce over the cooked linguine, garnished with grated parmesan cheese.
