Method
Burger Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Garlic Aioli
In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup of mayonnaise, 1 clove minced garlic, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, and salt to taste. Mix well and set aside.
- 2
Cook the Bacon
In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and let drain on paper towels.
- 3
Form and Cook the Burger Patties
Divide the ground beef into two equal portions and form them into patties. Season with salt and pepper. In the same skillet, cook the patties over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- 4
Add Cheese
In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover the skillet to melt the cheese.
- 5
Toast the Brioche Buns
In a separate pan, lightly toast the brioche buns until golden brown.
- 6
Assemble the Burger
On the bottom half of each brioche bun, spread a tablespoon of garlic aioli. Add the patty with melted cheese, followed by bacon, lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles. Top with the other half of the bun.
