Method
Cooking the Pasta

Boil Spaghetti
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package instructions until al dente.

Drain Pasta
Once cooked, drain the spaghetti in a colander and set aside.
Making the Bolognese Sauce

Heat Olive Oil
In a large skillet or saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

Add Garlic
Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, until fragrant.

Brown Ground Beef
Increase the heat to medium-high and add the ground beef. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, about 5-7 minutes.

Add Tomatoes and Wine
Once the beef is browned, add the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, and red wine. Stir to combine.

Simmer Sauce
Season the mixture with dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Reduce the heat to low and let simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Final Seasoning
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Remove from heat.
Serving

Serve and Garnish
Serve the cooked spaghetti topped with the Bolognese sauce. Garnish with grated Parmesan cheese.
