Method

Prepare the Fries

  1. 1

    Cut the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into thin strips to resemble fries.

  2. 2

    Season the Fries

In a bowl, toss the cut potatoes with olive oil and salt until evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Bake the Fries

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the potatoes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.

Make the Burger Patty

  1. 4

    Mix the Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined.

  2. 5

    Form Patties

Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about ¾ inch thick.

  3. 6

    Cook the Patties

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium, adding cheese slices on top during the last minute if desired.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 7

    Prepare the Buns

Toast the burger buns lightly on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.

  2. 8

    Layer the Ingredients

On the bottom half of each bun, place a lettuce leaf, followed by the cooked patty, a slice of tomato, and any additional toppings like pickles, ketchup, and mustard.

  3. 9

    Complete the Burger

Top with the other half of the bun, press down gently, and serve with the fries on the side.
