Steak Preparation

1

Marinate the Steak

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Add the flank steak and coat it well with the marinade. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

2

Grill the Steak

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the marinated flank steak for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes.

3

Slice the Steak

After the steak has rested, slice it thinly against the grain to ensure tenderness.

4

Prepare the Tortillas

Warm the corn tortillas on a skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side until they are pliable.

5

Chop the Onion and Cilantro

Finely chop the white onion and roughly chop the fresh cilantro.

6

Assemble the Tacos

Place a few slices of grilled steak on each tortilla. Top with chopped onion and cilantro. Squeeze fresh lime juice over the tacos before serving.
