Method

Preparation of Cheese Mixture

1

Combine the Ingredients

In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, shredded Monterey Jack cheese, creamy salsa, and milk. Mix until smooth and well combined.

2

Add Seasoning

Sprinkle in the garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until the seasoning is evenly distributed throughout the cheese mixture.

Cooking the Queso Dip

3

Heat the Mixture

Transfer the cheese mixture to a saucepan. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring frequently to prevent sticking, until the cheese is melted and the dip is creamy, about 5-7 minutes.

4

Adjust Seasoning

Taste the dip and adjust the seasoning with additional salt and pepper as desired.

Serving

5

Serve with Tortilla Chips

Once the queso dip is creamy and heated through, transfer it to a serving bowl and serve immediately with tortilla chips for dipping.
