Method

Preparing the Fries

  1. 1

    Bake the Fries

Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F). Spread the frozen French fries on a baking tray in a single layer. Drizzle with coconut oil and sprinkle with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Toss them to coat evenly.

  2. 2

    Cook the Fries

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until they are golden and crispy, flipping halfway through for even cooking.

Preparing the Toppings

  1. 3

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion, sliced mushrooms, and diced sweet peppers. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until the onions are translucent and the vegetables are tender.

  2. 4

    Cook the Plant-based Beef

Add the plant-based beef crumbles to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. Season with chili flakes and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes until the beef is heated through and slightly browned.

Assembling the Fries

  1. 5

    Combine and Serve

Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven and top with the sautéed vegetable and plant-based beef mixture. Add shredded white American cheese on top. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
