Preparation

    Slice the Steak

    Thinly slice the ribeye steak against the grain into strips.

    Prepare the Onion

    Slice the medium onion into thin rings.

    Prepare the Tomato

    Slice the large tomato into thick slices.

    Wash the Lettuce

    Rinse the lettuce leaves under cold water and pat dry.

Cooking

    Cook the Bacon

    In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove and drain on paper towels.

    Grill the Steak

    In the same skillet, add sliced steak and onion. Cook over medium-high heat for about 5-7 minutes until the steak is browned and cooked to your liking.

    Melt the Cheese

    Place the slices of white American cheese on top of the cooked steak and onions. Cover the skillet and let it sit for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Assembly

    Prepare the Rolls

    Slice the hoagie rolls open without cutting all the way through.

    Spread the Mayonnaise

    Spread mayonnaise on the inside of each hoagie roll.

    Layer the Ingredients

    Layer the cooked steak and cheese mixture, crispy bacon, lettuce, and tomato slices inside each hoagie roll.

    Serve

    Close the sandwich and serve immediately, enjoying your Cheesesteak BLT!
