Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Remove the wagyu striploin from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes. This ensures even cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Generously season both sides of the striploin with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.

  3. 3

    Heat the Pan

In a cast-iron skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat until it starts to shimmer.

  4. 4

    Sear the Steak

Add the striploin to the hot skillet. Sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is achieved.

  5. 5

    Add Aromatics

During the last minute of cooking, add the garlic cloves and rosemary to the skillet, basting the steak with the flavored oil.

  6. 6

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

  7. 7

    Serve

Slice the steak against the grain and serve immediately.
