Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Remove the rib-eye steak from the refrigerator and let it come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Drizzle olive oil over the steak, then season generously with salt, black pepper, and fresh rosemary. Press the seasoning into the meat.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Place the steak on the grill or in the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness. Add crushed garlic cloves to the skillet for extra flavor.

  4. 4

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

  5. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

While the steak is resting, wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into wedges and boil in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  6. 6

    Finish the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add butter, salt, and pepper to taste. Mash or crush slightly for a rustic feel.

  7. 7

    Serve

Slice the rib-eye steak and serve alongside the buttery potatoes. Enjoy your meal!
