Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Tenderloin

Remove the beef tenderloin from the refrigerator and let it rest at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cooking. Pat it dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Season the Meat

Rub the tenderloin with olive oil, and then season generously with salt and black pepper on all sides.

  3. 3

    Sear the Tenderloin

Heat a heavy skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the tenderloin to the skillet and sear for about 3-4 minutes on each side, until a golden brown crust forms.

  4. 4

    Add Aromatics

In the last minute of cooking, add crushed garlic cloves and fresh rosemary to the skillet. Spoon the melted butter over the tenderloin.

  5. 5

    Rest the Meat

Remove the tenderloin from the skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for 5-10 minutes before slicing.

  6. 6

    Serve

Slice the tenderloin into medallions and serve immediately, garnished with the garlic and rosemary from the pan.
