1. Prepare the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy. Add olive oil, flour, and salt. Mix until a dough forms.

2. Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes, until smooth and elastic.

3. Let it Rise

Place the kneaded dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

4. Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) about 30 minutes before baking the pizza.

5. Assemble the Pizza

Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Transfer it to a pizza stone or baking sheet. Spread tomato sauce evenly on the dough, then add slices of fresh mozzarella, a drizzle of olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.

6. Bake the Pizza
