In a medium-sized pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil.

Once the water is boiling, add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves to the pot. Stir gently.

Reduce the heat to low and let the tea steep for 5-7 minutes. Adjust steeping time based on desired strength.

After steeping, strain the tea into a heatproof pitcher to remove the tea leaves.
