Method

Prepare the Seafood

  1. 1

    Marinate the Seafood

In a bowl, combine the shrimp, crawfish tails, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to coat the seafood evenly. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Seafood

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the marinated seafood. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the shrimp turns pink and opaque and the crawfish is heated through. Remove from heat.

Assemble the Nachos

  1. 3

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 4

    Layer the Chips

On a large baking sheet, spread the tortilla chips in an even layer.

  3. 5

    Add the Seafood

Evenly distribute the cooked seafood mixture over the tortilla chips.

  4. 6

    Add the Cheese

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheeses over the seafood and chips.

Bake the Nachos

  1. 7

    Bake

Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Serve

  1. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Remove the nachos from the oven. Top with sliced green onions and serve with sour cream on the side. Add jalapeños if desired.
