Prepare the Flax Egg
In a small bowl, mix ground flaxseed with water and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it thickens.

Combine Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine vital wheat gluten, nutritional yeast, onion powder, garlic powder, dried thyme, dried sage, black pepper, and salt.

Mix Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together vegetable broth, soy sauce, olive oil, and the prepared flax egg.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough for about 5 minutes until it becomes elastic.

Shape the Loaf
Shape the dough into a loaf and wrap it tightly in aluminum foil.

Steam the Loaf
Place the wrapped loaf in a steamer or a large pot with a steaming rack. Steam for 30-40 minutes.

Once cooked, unwrap the loaf and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with oyster mushroom gravy and stuffing.
