Baking Instructions

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Cream Butter and Sugars

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the unsalted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.

  3. 3

    Add Eggs and Vanilla

Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

  4. 4

    Combine Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.

  5. 5

    Mix Dry and Wet Ingredients

Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.

  6. 6

    Add Chocolate Chips

Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.

  7. 7

    Scoop and Bake

Drop spoonfuls of dough onto ungreased baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

  8. 8

    Cool and Enjoy

Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
