Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Dry Rub

In a bowl, combine brown sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Apply the Dry Rub

Generously rub the dry rub mixture all over the ribs, ensuring an even coating. Wrap the ribs in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F).

  2. 5

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs tightly with another piece of aluminum foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours, until the ribs are tender.

  3. 6

    Prepare the Sauce

In a small saucepan, combine barbecue sauce, apple cider vinegar, and Worcestershire sauce. Heat over medium-low heat until warmed through.

  4. 7

    Glaze the Ribs

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the ribs generously with the barbecue sauce mixture.

  5. 8

    Broil the Ribs

Switch the oven to broil and return the ribs to the oven. Broil for about 5-7 minutes until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.

  6. 9

    Rest and Serve

Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with additional barbecue sauce on the side.
