Method

Preparation of Pickled Jalapeños

    Pickling the Jalapeños

    In a small saucepan, combine white vinegar, water, sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.

    Add sliced jalapeños to the saucepan and remove from heat. Let sit for at least 30 minutes to pickle.

Making Spicy Pimento Cheese

    Mixing the Cheese

    In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, diced pimentos, minced jalapeño, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper.

    Use a hand mixer or a fork to blend until smooth and well combined. Refrigerate until ready to use.

Making Viola Sauce

    Combining Ingredients

    In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, hot sauce, cider vinegar, smoked paprika, honey, and salt until smooth.

Cooking Smoked Sausage

    Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
