Toppings

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

Wash the field greens thoroughly and place them in a salad bowl or serving platter.

  2. 2

Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop out a little of the flesh to create a larger cavity for toppings. Place the avocado halves on the field greens.

  3. 3

Cook the bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet, drain on paper towels, and crumble once cooled.

  4. 4

Chop the cucumber, red onion, and green onions. Set aside for topping.

  5. 5

Prepare the pico de gallo and bean salad if not pre-made.

Assembly

  1. 6

    Top the Avocado

Begin layering the toppings on the avocado halves. Start with a generous spoonful of pico de gallo, followed by the bean salad.

  2. 7

Sprinkle the crumbled bacon over the top, then add the chopped cucumbers and onions.

  3. 8

Drizzle both the red and white BBQ sauces over the assembled avocados.
