Jack Daniel's - Single Barrel Select Recipe

Preparation

   Chill the Glass

   Begin by chilling your preferred whiskey glass. You can do this by filling it with ice water and setting it aside while you prepare the drink.

   Mix the Ingredients

   In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine 2 oz of Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Select Whiskey, 2 dashes of Angostura Aromatic Bitters, and 0.5 oz of simple syrup.

   Stir the Mixture

   Using a bar spoon or a long spoon, stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds until well chilled and properly mixed.

   Strain into Glass

   Remove the ice water from your chilled glass and strain the mixed drink into it, ensuring no ice cubes make their way into the glass.

   Garnish

   Finally, take a strip of orange peel and twist it over the drink to release its oils. Drop the peel into the glass as a garnish.
