Beef Patty

Method

Beef Patty Preparation

1

Prepare the Beef Patty

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently to combine without overworking the meat.

2

Form the Patties

Divide the beef mixture into two equal portions and shape them into round patties, about 3/4 inch thick. Make a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.

Cooking the Patties

3

Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.

4

Cook the Patties

Place the patties on the preheated grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the patty reaches your desired doneness.

Burger Assembly

5

Prepare the Bun

While the patties are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

6

Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, place a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato. Add the cooked beef patty with melted cheddar on top. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of special sauce on each patty, then place the top half of the bun to complete the burger.
