Method

Biscuit Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Biscuit Dough

In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the unsalted butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in the milk until just combined.

  2. 2

    Shape the Biscuits

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently for about 30 seconds. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick circle and cut out biscuits using a biscuit cutter or a glass.

  3. 3

    Bake the Biscuits

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Egg and Cheese Preparation

  1. 4

    Cook the Eggs

In a non-stick skillet, whisk the eggs with salt and black pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring gently, until the eggs are just set but still creamy.

  2. 5

    Add the Cheese

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the cooked eggs and let it melt slightly before removing from heat.

Meat Preparation

  1. 6

    Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

Assembly

  1. 7

    Assemble the Sandwich

Slice the baked biscuits in half. Layer the bottom half with the cooked bacon, followed by the cheesy scrambled eggs. Top with the other half of the biscuit and serve warm.
