Preparation

1

Make Blackberry Puree

In a blender, combine fresh blackberries with a little sugar (if desired) and blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve to remove seeds, if preferred.

2

Chill Glassware

Place a blood bag (or any desired glass) in the freezer for about 10 minutes to chill before serving.

Mixing the Drink

3

Combine Ingredients

In a cocktail shaker, add the gin, blackberry puree, lemon juice, and a handful of ice cubes. Shake well until chilled.

4

Pour into Glass

Remove the chilled blood bag from the freezer and strain the mixture into the bag, ensuring to leave some space for lemonade.

5

Add Lemonade

Top off the drink with lemonade, pouring gently to maintain the layers of flavor.

Garnishing

6

Garnish

Add fresh blackberries and mint leaves on top for garnish and serve immediately.
